Tara Maurer
Tara is a freelance creator living in Des Moines, Iowa. She graduated from Simpson College, earning degrees in Multimedia Journalism, Philosophy, and Women’s Studies. In addition to writing for Love Your Cat, Tara works for Iowa’s oldest health food store, where she enjoys educating the community on wellness for people and pets. When she’s not working, you’ll find Tara running, reading, or relaxing with her two rescue cats, Luna and Lucy.
