Danielle DeGroot

Danielle is a professional writer, pet lover, and book nerd. She has experience writing in communications, freelance writing, copywriting, blogging, PR, and education. Danielle graduated from the University of Colorado Global and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications with a specialization in Marketing. She is a lifelong supporter of rescue pets and has adopted almost every animal she ever met that needed a home. At one point, she had ten pets under one roof!

Cats have been a part of Danielle’s life since she was a very small child. In fact, her very first friend was a cat! She understands cats, and sometimes her kids say she acts like one. Danielle is a mom to three cats right now, Zaphod, Twilight, and Roxy. She likes to take them out for walks on leashes because they love the outdoors so much!

Danielle spends her days writing about dogs and cats as well as working for clients to help them share their stories. If she isn’t writing, you can find her exploring the majestic mountains of Colorado, seeking out new adventures, or creating sparkly jewelry in her workshop.
